Maisha Teaches DWC Entrepreneurs Low-Cost, High-Impact Internet Marketing Techniques

The Internet is changing how we market our businesses and especially how our customers find us. In this class we tackled some of the basics of marketing your small business brand online. During her presentation, Maisha covered how to use low cost techniques like email marketing, search engine optimization, and search engine advertising to get high impact results. She also answered many questions relevant to small business owners including:

  • How can I get my emails through the email clutter?
  • What is Search Engine Optimization and how does it work?
  • Is Search Engine Advertising too expensive for my business
  • How do I avoid wasting money on Search Engine Ads?

This informational, Q&A and networking event was facilitated by Maisha Walker of message medium – who writes “The Internet Strategist” column for Inc.
